At AmbaFlex, we rely on skilled technicians who can turn complex molding challenges into smooth, repeatable production. In this role, you’ll set up, monitor, and fine-tune injection molding processes to produce high-quality parts efficiently—while also packaging product, assembling chain on a semi-automatic “click-machine,” and tackling equipment issues to keep operations moving.

How you’ll contribute

Picture this: a new job is scheduled. You bring the press online, verify tooling and parameters, and validate first-off parts. As the run continues, you watch the data, make targeted adjustments, and document any changes. If a hiccup pops up—whether it’s tooling, auxiliary equipment, or the press—you troubleshoot, resolve, and prevent recurrence. Meanwhile, you ensure packaging meets spec and chain assemblies are built to standard.

Primary responsibilities

• Set up and start injection molding machines per production plan.
• Monitor quality and efficiency; adjust parameters to maintain optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot molding machines, auxiliary equipment, and tooling.
• Conduct routine inspections and perform preventive maintenance as directed.
• Accurately document process changes and production data.
• Operate and troubleshoot the semi-automatic “click-machine” for chain assembly per specifications.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce scrap and improve cycle times.

Shifts

• 5:00am–5:30pm Friday–Sunday
• 10:30pm–7:00am Monday–Friday

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on injection molding processing.
• Technical knowledge: Thorough understanding of molding processes, tooling, and semi-automatic equipment.
• Blueprint reading: Proficient with technical drawings and specifications.
• Soft skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Material handling: Experienced with overhead cranes and forklifts.
• Work style: Effective independently and within a team.
• Quality: Skilled with precision measurement tools to uphold strict standards.
• Plus: Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting knowledge.

Physical demands & environment

Standing for long periods; ability to lift or push completed product up to 90 pounds.
