Retail Events & Outreach Coordinator

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Retail Events & Outreach Coordinator to join our team. As an FDA guided company, with GMP certification, we manufacture over 150 products at our Production facility in east Columbus. We are exploding with growth and sold over 1 million products last year!

This role is essential in planning, executing, and managing a variety of promotional events and outreach initiatives to enhance brand visibility and engagement. The ideal candidate will have a passion for event marketing, excellent communication skills, and a strong background in hospitality or related industries. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop innovative outreach strategies, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and deliver memorable experiences that drive customer loyalty and community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and execute retail events, promotional campaigns, and outreach activities to attract and engage target audiences
• Coordinate with vendors, venues, catering services, and other partners to ensure seamless event execution
• Manage event budgets, contracts, and logistics to maximize impact while maintaining cost efficiency
• Develop marketing materials and promotional strategies to increase event attendance and brand awareness
• Upsell products or services during events to meet sales targets and enhance customer experience
• Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, local businesses, and stakeholders for collaborative outreach efforts
• Oversee on-site event setup, guest services, and hospitality arrangements including banquet or catering services
• Track event performance metrics and prepare post-event reports to evaluate success and identify areas for improvement
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all outreach activities

Skills

• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable contracts and partnerships
• Proven experience in event marketing, planning, and management within retail or hospitality sectors such as restaurants, hotels, or fundraising events
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
• Effective communication skills for liaising with vendors, clients, team members, and community partners
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
• Experience in budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation for events
• Ability to upsell products or services naturally during outreach activities to enhance revenue opportunities
• Knowledge of banquet operations, catering logistics, and guest services best practices
• Familiarity with hospitality industry standards including hotel operations or restaurant service environments
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently across various initiatives
