In addition to working in the new Neurological Institute, caregivers in this role will have the opportunity to provide patient care in additional areas across Cleveland Clinic Main Campus , including Cardiac, Digestive Disease, Medical-Surgical and more.

As a CT Technologist, you play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care through accurate and advanced computed tomography imaging. You’ll work in a dynamic outpatient setting where teamwork, efficiency, and attention to detail help ensure a smooth and rewarding experience for both patients and caregivers. A caregiver in this position works full-time, second shift from 12:30pm-11pm with the same day off every week (no weekends).

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

• Acquire patients chart data/requisition and review both to determine correct room set-up and learn of any specific medical problems and contraindications to the study .

• V erify that the study being ordered correlates to the diagnostic needs.

• Educate patients regarding procedure, equipment and exam to ensure understanding and cooperation.

• Maintain all aspects of the CT area , including the technical and clerical components , to ensure proper quality assurance results and any required documentation.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology

• Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R.T.(R) (ARRT) in good standing

• Computed Tomography (CT) Certification [R.T.(R) (CT) (ARRT)] within one year of hire

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross

• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and related pathologic processes

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

• One year of experience as a General Radiologic Technologist

Physical Requirements:

• Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time.

• Must be able to lift or assist with lifting patients of varying weight and manipulate equipment daily.

Personal Protective Equipment:

• Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Pay Range

Minimum hourly: $33.50

Maximum hourly: $48.50
