General Dentist with Dentistry for Children of Ohio, Randy Hamilton DMD, LLC

Job Duties:

• Examining, diagnosing, prescribing, and carrying out (or directing others in carrying out) oral health care services that are in the best interest of the patient;
• Examining patients and providing preventive dental care and general dentistry, including treatment of oral diseases, injuries, malformations of teeth and gums, SS crowns, pulpotomies, extractions;
• Treating teeth, jaw and gum problems by applying restorative techniques and modalities;
• Counseling patients on dental health and restorative and prosthetic services;
• Practicing in the following disciplines of dental practice: diagnosis; periodontics; fixed and removable prosthodontics; endodontics; oral surgery; orthodontics; restorative and preventive dentistry;
• Administering nitrous oxide analgesia and/or oral sedation and treat patients under general anesthesia;
• Contributing towards a team oriented and collegial environment by working with other clinical and non-clinical staff members as necessary;
• Upholding the policy, protocol, and procedures which are in compliance with the most current accepted professional standards;
• Improving clinical skills and acumen through participation in continuing education and training opportunities (continuing education support is available); and
• Participating in various community outreach initiatives as necessary.

Job Requirements:

• Doctorate of Dental Surgery or Dental Medicine from college or university accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation and 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related role creating comprehensive dental treatment plans and examining, diagnosing and treating periodontal diseases; administering nitrous oxide analgesia and oral conscious sedation; managing dental trauma and emergencies; monitoring dental growth and development; and providing dental care for special needs children;
• 3 years of experience with clinical examination and radiographic analysis; digital radiographs; intraoral scanners; Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT); removable prosthetics; surgical extractions; space maintainers; endodontics, crowns and bridges, pediatric pulpotomies, stainless steel crowns, fixed and removable prosthodontics; inlays and onlays; veneers; Pulpotomies; extractions, including wisdom teeth extractions; periodontics; and Invisalign; and
• Current valid license to practice dentistry in the State of Ohio.
