Sterile Processing Technician
The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for the cleaning, sterilization, and preparation of surgical instruments and medical equipment. This role is crucial in ensuring that all instruments are safe and ready for use in various medical procedures.
- Clean and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
- Inspect and maintain sterilization equipment
- Package and store sterile instruments
- Adhere to safety and infection control protocols
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure timely instrument availability
