Audit Manager - Government Services

Review workpapers, draft financial statements, and oversee the execution of audit procedures with precision. Act as a strategic advisor to clients, addressing complex accounting, reporting, and compliance issues. Develop strong client relationships and identify opportunities to expand services, contributing to the growth of the practice. Collaborate with firm leadership to understand client risks and serve as a liaison between clients and internal teams. Leadership & Team Development Foster a collaborative and accountable team environment by coaching and mentoring staff, managing workloads, and providing clear expectations and feedback. Your role is pivotal in nurturing the next generation of talent within the organization. Preferred qualifications include experience with government or public-sector clients, technical expertise in GASB standards, CPA certification, and prior supervisory experience.
