As an Ambassador for Airgas , the Service & Delivery Professional takes pride in the safe and reliable delivery of compressed gas cylinders to our local and regional business partners. Operating from an Airgas branch or plant location using a company-provided straight or box truck, you will manage the flow of cylinders while building lasting relationships with the customers you visit.

As a Service & Delivery Professional at Airgas, you will be part of a supportive professional team that encourages your personal growth and internal mobility , while ensuring you have the work/life balance you need to thrive.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Cylinder Handling :Safely load, deliver, and unload cylinders containing compressed gases to both external and internal customer locations.
• Record Keeping: Accurately record deliveries and pick-ups on a load manifest, obtaining customer signatures for receipt. Collect empty, rejected, or unsold cylinders and return them to a plant or branch for refilling.
• Safety and Compliance :Adhere to all Airgas safety standards (SAFECOR) and government regulations, including those from DOT, EPA, FMCSA, FDA, and OSHA.
• Warehouse Support: Provide assistance in the warehouse or on the dock as needed.

Are you a MATCH?

Required Qualifications:

Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.

Valid Medical Examiner's Card.

Hazmat Endorsement (or willing to obtain).

Must have one (1) year of prior Class A professional driving experience within the last five (5) years and a clean driving record to include no more than two (2) convictions, OR two (2) at-fault accidents in the last three years; OR no more than a combination of one (1) conviction and one (1) at-fault accident in the last three years.

In lieu of experience, may consider accepting a diploma from an accredited driving school and a minimum of one (1) year of prior driving experience within the last five (5) years.

Must be at least 21 years or older

Ability to read and comprehend material safety data sheets.

Ability to routinely lift 25 - 75 lbs., and occasionally lift 76 to greater than 125 pounds with the aid of material handling equipment.

Must be able to drive hazardous cargo for up to 8 hours; frequent bending is also required.
