Registered Nurse Job Details

• Location: Columbus, Ohio (43203) – prime location for Ohio healthcare professionals
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 10/20/2025 – End: 1/19/2026)
• Shift: Day shifts, 3x12-hour (06:30 – 19:00), Monday–Friday
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2050–$2100
• Call: Up to 10 calls per contract (after hours and weekends); weekend call is 24-hour Saturday or Sunday
• Float: Possible float to 2nd floor Outpatient ORs
• Patient Population: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
• Setting: 10 operating rooms, 20–30 surgeries per day

OR RN Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience (Level 1 trauma experience required)
• Active Registered Nurse license (compact RN license or Ohio state RN license)
• Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• BLS certification (required)
• ACLS certification (preferred)
• EPIC charting experience
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Experience with conscious sedation and scrub preferred
• Ability to circulate in multiple specialties: Orthopedics, Robotics, General Surgery, GYN/URO, Plastics, ENT
• Two professional references required (one from a manager/director or formal leadership)
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)

Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Circulate in a high-volume operating room, supporting a wide range of surgical procedures
• Assist with orthopedic trauma, joint replacements, sports medicine, and robotic surgeries (DaVinci XI)
• Deliver patient care for adolescents, adults, and geriatric populations
• Float to Outpatient ORs as needed
• Participate in on-call rotation (after hours and weekends)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, and Pharmacy
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation using EPIC
• Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and procedures
