Agency Relations and CSFP Manager
We are seeking a caring and dedicated relationship builder to join our team as the
Agency Relations and CSFP Manager at the SE Ohio Foodbank.
What You Will Do
The Agency Relations and CSFP Manager acts as a liaison between the SE Ohio
Foodbank and our member pantries and meal sites across ten counties to ensure
effective and equitable distribution of food to all member pantries and meal sites.
The position also manages our Commodity Supplemental Food Program (senior
nutrition box program).
This Position:
? Supports our member pantries and meal sites by coordinating training and
orientations, developing outreach efforts, and supporting capacity building
initiatives. They also carry out bi-annual inspections to ensure that all pantries
and meal sites meet food safety and grant compliance standards.
? Manages our Commodity Supplemental Food Box program for seniors 60 years old
and up by assisting clients with their applications, managing client caseload, and
creating the monthly list of box recipients for each food distribution.
? Collects and reports statistical data of populations served by our member
pantries and clients in the senior food box program.
Coordinates with the Foodbank Operations team to ensure efficient, timely food
distribution via our pantries and meal sites to our communities.
What We're Looking For
? Associates degree or higher in a community service, communications, or
administrative field preferred. Minimum of High School diploma or GED
equivalent required.
? Superior interpersonal skills and ability to effectively build relationships with
pantry leaders, clients, and other staff through positive interaction and problem
identification and resolution.
? Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
? Experience with MS Office required.
? Ability to prioritize responsibilities and to organize workload to ensure that
timeframes are met and the work is successfully completed within deadlines
? Must be an individual of good character and responsibility; high level of
confidentiality and integrity required. A commitment to addressing issues of
poverty and hunger in the community is essential.
