Long Term Temporary General Worker

: POSITION: General Worker - Edison Elementary 6 hours per day Long Term Temporary through the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school graduate
• Bookkeeping and accounting skills
• General aptitude for leadership
• Energetic, productive, and customer-oriented attitude
• Must have or obtain ServSafe Handler accreditation or able to obtain
• Familiar with ODE Child Nutrition Lunch Guidelines
• Experience in quantity standardized recipes and cooking
• Able to maintain inventory and rotate products
• Cashiering experience or ability to develop this skill, displaying honesty and integrity
• Knowledge of proper operation of commercial equipment and safety procedures
• Merchandising ability
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds and maintain fast-paced production
• Familiar with universal safety procedures for blood-borne pathogens and hazard communications

GENERAL DUTIES:

• Respond to directives from Cook Manager and Supervisor in a professional and cooperative manner at all times
• Prepare food
• Do bookkeeping for state and federal reports
• Cashier and keep accurate accounts of lunch program procedures
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Administrator
