Job Duties
Ensures the efficient movement and clearance of import/export freight in compliance with established regulations and procedures for any international import/export freight which includes freight held "in-bond" per customers' request for broker-select clearance option. Provides training and technical expertise to IDAs. Updates operating procedures and takes proactive measures to reduce potential liability. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

High school diploma/GED

Minimum Experience

Eighteen (18) months of experience in the international documentation agent (IDA) job classification. Experience in COSMOS, KIAC, VISA, FAMIS, TORTES, AMS, IPBSO, etc. and PC software applications, i.e., word processing, spreadsheets, etc.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to type at least 25 wpm. Knowledge of processing state department license (SDL) shipments required. Ability to successfully complete all basic and recurrency training. Good human relations and communication skills.

Job Conditions
