Job Title:Reporting & Analytics Senior Consultant

Job Summary

Reporting & Analytics Senior Consultant is responsible for leading the reporting efforts for the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) and Enterprise for Research, Innovation and Knowledge; plays a critical role in preparing and submitting annual NSF Higher Education Research & Development (HERD) survey, including working closely with senior leaders to identify and prepare reporting internal to OSU colleges. Utilizes complex skills and knowledge to act as a liaison between Workday product development team, University Enterprise Business Solutions team, and grants stakeholders across the University. Participates as University representative in Workday Design Partner Group, serving as the grants subject matter expert by providing feedback to Workday on future grants product roadmap to identify gaps in functionality that are important to the University grants community. Works with ERIK and grants stakeholders from across the University to identify grants and reporting gaps. Collaborates with Office of Research Information Systems (ORIS), Enterprise Business Solutions (EBS), and grant SMEs to address reporting needs. Serves as the primary liaison between ERIK leadership, ORIS, Workday product development, and other grant stakeholders to identify and develop optimal solutions to reporting needs. Facilitates the communication of new report development, works on training resources to provide job aids and other relevant information about new reporting resources and updates to the University community. Identify and implement reporting methods for improving data quality and integrity for grants across the University.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8 years of relevant work experience.
• Significant, broad-based sponsored program administration experience in an academic setting.
• Familiarity with budgeting/grant accounting.
• Extensive knowledge of Grants software modules, and federal government electronic research administration initiatives.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a range of audiences.
• Certified Research Administrator.

• Advanced degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 12 years of relevant work experience.

Additional Information

The Target Hiring Range for this position is $129,500 - $169,250, annually. The salary offer for this position will fall within this range based on the candidate's qualifications, internal equity, and the unit's available budget, which will be the primary determining factor.
