Job Title: Assembler - 1st Shift, $21-24/hr

Job Description

Join a dynamic building product manufacturer as an Assembler in the glazing department, where you will play a crucial role in material handling and window preparation, including tasks such as caulking. This full-time position operates on the first shift from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with potential overtime.

Responsibilities

• Handle materials efficiently and safely.
• Perform preparatory work for windows, such as caulking.
• Utilize hand and power tools, such as saws and drills, for various tasks.
• Read and interpret blueprints and instructions accurately.
• Work collaboratively with a team to meet production goals.

Essential Skills

• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with carpentry, caulking, and glazing.
• Familiarity with framing and metal fabrication.

Work Environment

The work takes place in a clean manufacturing facility with a team of 105 production staff members. Employees are required to wear steel-toed boots and maintain a collaborative and positive attitude, as teamwork is essential.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH 43231.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
