Job Description Summary

As a Director of Technical Product Management, You will be responsible to lead and direct a team of software engineers in building requirements and transforming those into solutions that drive business outcomes. This role will be accountable for all aspects (planning, forecasting, production) of the end-to-end lifecycle of a product. Impacts the team's ability to achieve service, quality and timeliness of objectives. This collaborative role directly faces our business partners and implementation team and the person in this role will develop a strong connection to our business outcomes.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Leverages deep process/domain expertise and partners with PO and technical development team. Influences key stakeholders in design and planning decisions.
  • Drives the development of products that are targeted at a (usually) very technical audience.
  • Combines the customer vision with technical feasibility to convert business needs into functional specifications/user stories. Works with customers/stakeholders to prioritize needs.
  • Creates the strategic roadmap for the product. Coordinates work of several parallel teams to deliver on higher level outcomes.
  • Responsible for transparent delivery and maximizing returns. Focuses on execution for the duration of a product release.
  • Manages a small to medium team of professionals.
  • Requires specialized knowledge within the function and Enterprise Resource planning SDLC.
  • Influences the development of strategy for the area of responsibility, including control of resources and influences policy formulation.
  • Interprets simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services.
  • Stays informed of industry trends that may inform work.
  • Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems in areas of operational, product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering.
  • Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders.
  • Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations.
  • Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
  • May lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity.
  • Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others' options on particular topics.
  • May guide others to consider a different point of view.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 8 years of professional experience OR associate's degree with minimum of 11 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 13 years of professional experience
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience successfully implementing complex ERP Systems (Oracle preferred)
  • Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience

  • Strong knowledge of ERP system data structures, preferably Oracle
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Familiarity with versatile implementation options
  • Demonstrates the initiative to explore alternate technology and approaches to solving problems
  • Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating efforts
  • Has the ability to analyze impact of technology choices
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the competitive environment Leadership:
  • Pre-emptively sees downstream consequences and effectively tailors influencing strategy to support a positive outcome.
  • Able to verbalize what is behind decisions and downstream implications. Continuously reflecting on success and failures to improve performance and decision-making.

The base pay range for this position is $152,000 - $205,000 annually. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on March 13, 2026.
