Location: Cleveland, OH (On-site – Must work from the office) Working Hours: Monday to Friday Salary Range: $45,000 - $55,000 per year Description We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Entry Level Communications Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in crafting and disseminating information about our organization, its initiatives, and its impact in the community. As the Entry Level Communications Specialist, you will assist in the development of communication strategies that enhance our brand visibility and engage our target audiences effectively. Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and execution of communication strategies and campaigns.
- Write, edit, and proofread internal and external communication materials, including press releases, newsletters, and website content.
- Monitor media coverage and prepare reports on communications metrics and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with team members to develop engaging content for social media platforms.
- Support event planning and promotional activities to enhance brand visibility.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital communication strategies.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design and content creation tools is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree is a plus
- Proven experience in customer service or a related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle stressful situations with a calm demeanor
- Proficient in using computer applications and CRM software
