Job Details:

• Work every other weekend and every other holiday as required
• Minimum of 2 years ED nursing experience required
• Unable to accommodate blocked schedules
• Must be comfortable and have experience caring for pediatric patients
• Work in high volume emergency department environment
• Provide care in trauma/resuscitation rooms for high acuity patients
• Handle behavioral health patient situations
• Work with fast track patients for efficient care delivery
• Manage emergency department operations in busy clinical setting

Facility:

This medical center operates a high volume, 38-bed emergency department with additional specialized areas including 5 fast track rooms, an internal waiting room, 4 behavioral health swing rooms, and 2 trauma/resuscitation rooms. While not designated as a trauma facility, the emergency department handles high acuity cases and maintains affiliation with a major children's hospital to provide pediatric emergency services. The facility is equipped to handle diverse emergency medical situations across all age groups.
