We are looking for a highly motivated Web Programming Intern to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automation, programming, and process optimization. This internship provides a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in utilizing HTML, PHP, mySQL, and other web technologies to implement new web applications for our company.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a relevant degree program (Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field).
• Solid understanding of HTML and its application in creating responsive and visually appealing web pages.
• Proficiency in PHP for server-side scripting and dynamic web development.
• Familiarity with mySQL and database design principles.
• Basic knowledge of web technologies such as CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and contribute to the design and implementation of web applications.
• Create and maintain web pages, ensuring a responsive and visually appealing user interface.
• Develop dynamic and interactive web apps using PHP to enhance the functionality
• Assist in troubleshooting and debugging code to ensure the performance, reliability, and security of web applications.
• Stay current with emerging web technologies and industry best practices, bringing innovative ideas to the development process.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers and backend developers, to deliver seamless and user-friendly web experiences.

Projects:

• Update NetSteady's Digital Signage code set to enable additional features
• Create a framework for a new dynamic web app system
• Implement the framework to integrate with newly created front-end templates
• Create the data framework for the administrative panel for web-app system
• Implement the framework for the administrative panel

NetSteady participates in the State of Ohio's High School Technology Internship program. As such, we are only able to consider applicats who are 18 or 19 years old and have recently graduated from an Ohio school district. All other applicants will be rejected.
