Our client is a fast-growing, tech-enabled landscape maintenance company with a strong operational culture. They are known for building high-performing teams, investing in training and systems, and delivering consistent quality across commercial maintenance accounts.

They are looking for a Maintenance Production Manager — a hands-on leader who can drive crew performance, maintain quality standards in the field, and keep jobs on time, on budget, and safe.

The Opportunity
This is a critical leadership role within the maintenance division.

As the Maintenance Production Manager , you’ll oversee field crew performance, scheduling, quality control, and resource planning. You’ll work closely with operations leadership to ensure contracts are serviced at a high standard, clients are satisfied, and the team is operating efficiently and safely.

You’ll also be responsible for developing people: coaching crew leads, training team members, and helping shape a reliable, accountable, safety-first culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site audits, lead tailgate safety meetings, and enforce company safety policies.
• Deliver hands-on training on equipment use, production standards, and safe operating procedures.
• Build and manage weekly/seasonal maintenance schedules that align with contract requirements and client expectations.
• Monitor service quality and proactively address site-level issues before they escalate.
• Oversee labor, equipment, tools, and materials to ensure efficient deployment of resources.
• Track job costing and production performance to ensure work stays within budget targets.
• Coach, mentor, and develop crew leads and team members; support recruiting and onboarding in partnership with HR/leadership.
• Partner with account management / sales to ensure field delivery matches client expectations.
• Identify enhancement opportunities and follow up to ensure service commitments are met.
• Maintain accurate job records, production metrics, and performance reporting.
• Participate in operations / production meetings and lead continuous improvement discussions.

Qualifications

• Experience in landscaping, field operations, or production management (commercial maintenance preferred).
• Strong leadership skills; able to hold teams accountable while building a positive culture.
• Highly organized and steady under pressure; able to manage multiple crews, sites, and timelines.
• Comfortable using operations software and tracking performance data (platforms like LMN, Aspire, Monday.com, etc.).
• Strong understanding of job costing, labor planning, and production efficiency.
• Safety-minded, quality-driven, and detail-focused.
• Confident communicator with both field teams and management.
