Join West Chester Academy as a Brass Teacher , where you will inspire students of all ages to explore the world of brass performance. We are seeking passionate educators who can create engaging lessons and foster a love for music in a supportive environment. Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver dynamic brass lessons tailored to various skill levels.
- Encourage creativity and musical expression in students through hands-on practice.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills.
- Organize and participate in recitals and performance opportunities.
- Collaborate with other music instructors to create a cohesive curriculum.
- Maintain a positive and engaging classroom atmosphere.
- Stay updated on brass techniques and music education trends.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and achievements.
- Bachelor's degree in Music Education or related field preferred.
- Proven experience teaching brass to students of varying ages.
- Strong knowledge of brass performance techniques, pedagogy, and repertoire.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students in a fun learning environment.
- Patience and adaptability to meet individual student needs.
- Background check and references required.
- Passion for music and a commitment to student success.
