REFUSE WORKER I

The City of West Carrollton, OH (pop. 13,143) is accepting applications for a Refuse Worker I position within the Service Department. This position performs a variety of physical tasks, including operating a two‑person refuse truck, collecting residential and commercial waste, and using the truck’s loading equipment. The Refuse Worker I may also be assigned tasks within the Street Department and may operate a one-man refuse truck, pick-up truck, dump truck, or other vehicles in the performance of duties.

Salary and Benefits

Pay range is $22.42 – $30.05 per hour DOQ. Excellent benefits.

Required Qualifications at the Time of Application : Applicants must possess a valid State of Ohio Class B Commercial Driver’s License with Air Brake and Tanker Endorsement at the time of application.

The successful candidate must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
