Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Columbus, Ohio (ZIP 43210) – Central Ohio healthcare jobs
• Facility: General Medicine, 11 East Rhodes Hall
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 10/6/2025 – End: 1/5/2026)
• Shift: Day shifts, 3x12-hour (07:00 – 19:30)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1940–$1990
• Patient Ratio: Estimated 1:3
• Weekend Coverage: Weekdays and some weekends; rotating holidays
• Floating: Required to float to units of equivalent or lower acuity within the organization

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license (compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 3 years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• EPIC charting experience
• Proficient in IV starts and telemetry monitoring
• Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Previous travel RN experience preferred
• Two professional references (at least one from a manager, director, or formal leadership)
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)

RN Job Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with diverse medical conditions
• Perform IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and manage cardiac drips (no titration)
• Float to various units within the healthcare organization as needed
• Document patient care using EPIC electronic medical records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams: Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy, and more
• Participate in wound care, blood product administration, central line care, and tracheostomy management
• Follow isolation precautions and infection control protocols
• Support rapid response teams and contribute to a safe, patient-centered environment
