AWS/CES is looking for a Millwright for our distribution client.

- Pay Rate: up to $28.50 per hour

Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable Millwright to support daily facility and equipment operations. This role is responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing mechanical equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous operations. The ideal candidate is hands-on, safety-focused, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
Install mechanical equipment according to layout plans and specifications
Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair machinery and equipment to detect malfunctions
Adjust machinery and replace defective parts as needed
Ensure all safety devices are fully operational following repairs or installations
Support and execute the Preventive Maintenance (PM) program for continuous equipment improvement
Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning and lubrication
Maintain detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation
Adhere to all workplace safety policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Maintain a clean, safe, and environmentally compliant work area
Participate in required training and continuous improvement initiatives
Work flexible shifts and perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
Grade 12 education required; college/university education or equivalent experience preferred
Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience ; Millwright experience is an asset
Valid driver’s license
Experience with autonomous forklifts and/or robotics preferred
Welding FW flat/horizontal certification required
Experience with pneumatics is an asset
Valid forklift license preferred
Intermediate computer skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and multitask
Flexible, professional, and able to work effectively in a diverse environment
Must pass criminal background check, drug screen, pre-employment physical, and company medical
