Salesforce Administrator (Infrastructure Specialist 3)

What You’ll Do As a Salesforce Administrator, you will be assisting our team with maintenance and administration of our Salesforce system as well as gathering of business requirements for system changes. You will be responsible for business process documentation, project planning, and implementation. In this position you will interact with various teams to continuously enhance our Salesforce system. You will be required to work directly with users to collect system specifications and then implement those changes or work with our development as needed. You will also be responsible for testing and implementation of Salesforce changes. Duties Include But Are Not Limited To- Assists in the administration and configuration of the Salesforce platform to meet business needs
- Performs daily system maintenance
- Supports testing and deployment of new features and updates
- Implements approved changes and coordinates with development teams
- Monitors system performance and usage
- Maintains documentation of system configurations and business processes
- Develops and maintains reports and dashboards to support business operations
- Monitors and manages exception logs related to system integrations
- Monitors user activity and provides guidance to individuals or groups requiring additional assistance

Hours: Standard workdays are Monday through Friday. Hours are between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Travel: Occasional travel within the state of Ohio. PN(s): 20040965 The Ideal Candidate, At Minimum, Must Have The Following- Associate's program which core is in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent work experience.
AND
- Minimum 4 years combined work experience in any combination of the following: evaluating effectiveness and risk of IT processes, recommending changes in IT procedures to meet customer needs, and evaluating and/or researching hardware and/or software solutions and providing feedback to project team or higher-level staff including 2 years technology related work experience as specified by the agency position description and vacancy/job posting.

Pay Information This position is in the State of Ohio’s OCSEA Pay Schedule, Pay Range 35. Unless required by legislation or union contract, starting salary will be the minimum salary of that pay range (step 1, currently $40.59 per hour). These ranges provide a standardized pathway for pay increases. With continued employment, new hires move to the next step in the range after 6 months and annually thereafter. Cost of Living Adjustments increase wages in these ranges each fiscal year. The current step progression wages are in the table below.
