Location: Columbus, OH
Contract Type: Travel
Duration: 26 weeks
Shift: 5x8 Days (typically 8:00am–4:00pm)
Pay: $2,868/week
Completion Bonus: $2,500 per contract (up to $7,500 after three contracts)

Job Description
ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner for a travel assignment providing on-site primary care services in a correctional setting. The NP will deliver comprehensive primary care to adult patient populations, manage acute and chronic conditions, and coordinate follow-up care. This is a full-time weekday role with potential for extension based on ongoing need and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide primary care services to adult patients in a correctional setting
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic conditions
• Perform physical exams and health assessments
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Prescribe medications and treatments within scope
• Manage and coordinate ongoing care plans
• Document all encounters and orders in the medical record
• Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams

Qualifications

• Active Ohio Nurse Practitioner license required
• Family NP or Adult-Gerontology NP certification required
• Board certification required
• Minimum 1 year NP experience in primary care or hospital medicine required
• BLS/CPR certification required
• DEA registration required for assignment
• Comprehensive resume with full work history required
• Drug screening and TB test documentation required prior to start
