Landscaping Laborer / Crew Member

About the Role

We are a growing company covering properties in multiple counties, currently seeking dedicated, dependable landscape laborers to work safely in the field. As a landscape professional, you will work alongside other crew members, receive direction from crew leaders and report to the production manager. If you love working outside in a team environment, this position could be right for you!

Responsibilities

• Trim and edge around sidewalks, flower beds, and walls

• Plant flowers, shrubs, trees, and grass

• Trim/prune trees and shrubs

• Clean lawn debris with rakes, shovels, and blowers

• Install new landscaping materials

• Keep trucks and equipment clean and in working order

• Contribute to our safety culture by wearing assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

• Interact with homeowners, property guests, clients, and the public in a friendly and polite manner

Requirements

• Able to operate standard landscaping machinery such as riding mowers, trimmers, and blowers

• Maintain a regular, dependable attendance record

• Availability to work variable hours which may include weekends, holidays and overtime

• Ability to perform physical work in various weather conditions

• Legal authorization to work in the United States

• 18 years of age or older

• Reliable transportation to the branch daily

• Valid driver's license

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds & walk long distances

Work Schedule

• You’ll work Monday to Friday, up to 10-hour shifts (with overtime in the peak season), starting between 7:00 and 8:00 am depending on the season. Your workday is finished when the route is complete, which is around 8-10 hours, but this can vary.

• We provide transportation from our shops in Louisville & Canton to job sites. You’ll drive or ride in a work truck from the shop to the job sites.
