Part-Time Dietary Assistant

Hours: 4:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m.

Villa Springfield Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a friendly, dependable Part-Time Dietary Assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dining areas and meal trays for evening service

• Serve meals and beverages according to residents’ dietary needs

• Deliver and collect meal trays

• Assist with washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment

• Clean and sanitize dining and food-preparation areas

• Stock supplies and help maintain an organized kitchen

• Follow food-safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures

• Provide friendly and respectful service to residents

• Work collaboratively with the dietary and nursing teams

Qualifications

• Dependable, punctual, and able to work from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

• Friendly and compassionate attitude

• Strong teamwork and communication skills

• Ability to follow instructions and dietary guidelines carefully

• Ability to stand for extended periods and meet the physical requirements of the position

• Previous food-service or healthcare experience is helpful but not required
