Software Engineer (Java,ETL)
Kforce has a client in Westlake, TX that is seeking a Software Engineer (Java,ETL). Responsibilities:
- Accountable for consistent delivery of functional software - sprint to sprint, release to release
- Perfection in software development practices and procedures
- Develops original and creative technical solutions to ongoing development efforts
- Responsible for QA readiness of software work you're doing (end-to-end tests, unit tests, automation)
- Responsible for supporting implementation of initiatives
- Works on sophisticated assignments and often multiple phases of a project
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/similar technical subject area and or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience developing Java based applications and Restful API's
- Experience with CI/ CD and software version control
- Experience in data movement technologies (ETL/ELT), Messaging Technologies (ActiveMQ, Azure Service Bus) and Oracle Database
- CAMUNDA experience is a plus
- Experience with Azure and other cloud-based development methodologies/best-practices
- Experience with reporting like OBIEE/OAS
