Engineering Coordinator

The Engineering Coordinator supports the rollout of a new ERP system by organizing, structuring, and accurately entering data, with a strong focus on Bills of Materials (BOMs) derived from engineering drawings. This role plays a critical part in preparing data for ERP go-live, working closely with an onsite ERP consultant and internal teams to bring order to legacy information and support a smooth system transition.
Responsibilities

Input and organize Bill of Materials (BOM) data into the new IQMS ERP system with a high level of accuracy.

Review and interpret engineering drawings to identify and enter BOM components correctly.

Organize, structure, and clean up existing data from various sources, including paper files and Excel spreadsheets.

Use Excel to sort, structure, and organize data for efficient transfer into the ERP system.

Assist customer service and operations teams with data preparation activities leading up to ERP go-live.

Learn and apply IQMS functionality as needed to support ongoing data entry and maintenance.

Collaborate closely with the onsite IQMS consultant and internal engineering and operations teams during the ERP implementation.

Support general administrative and documentation tasks related to the ERP transition, ensuring records are complete and up to date.
Essential Skills

Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage large volumes of data and documentation.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high levels of accuracy in all data entry tasks.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for sorting, structuring, and organizing data (no advanced formulas required).

Ability to read and understand engineering drawings at a BOM level.

Ability to learn new systems and software quickly, including ERP platforms such as IQMS.

Experience with data entry in an engineering or administrative environment.

Familiarity with ERP systems and engineering administration processes.

No degree required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience working with Bills of Materials (BOM) and the person of Materials in a manufacturing or engineering context.

Exposure to engineering support functions, including coordination between engineering, operations, and customer service.

Experience with IQMS ERP or similar ERP systems is a plus.

Familiarity with SolidWorks or other engineering design tools is beneficial.

Background in mechanical or general engineering environments is advantageous.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications beyond Excel is helpful for documentation and communication.
Work Environment
This is an onsite role with a standard schedule of Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. You will work closely with an onsite IQMS consultant, engineering teams, operations, and customer service in a structured environment focused on an ERP implementation. The position involves frequent use of computers, Microsoft Excel, and the IQMS ERP system, as well as regular handling of engineering drawings and legacy documentation from both digital and paper-based sources.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
