Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN for a Med Surg Travel position in Akron, Ohio. This role requires adeptness at delivering comprehensive nursing care in a dynamic 28-bed MS unit, focusing on geriatric patients requiring acute care or close observation. Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to geriatric patients aged 65 and older
• Implement the 4Ms of age-friendly care: What Matters, Medication, Mentation, and Mobility
• Manage and monitor patients with a variety of medical diagnoses
• Perform phlebotomy and manage IVs efficiently
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient wellness and prevent functional decline

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to float between units
• Minimum of 2+ years of recent MS experience
• Accredited nursing degree through the ACEN or CCNE
• Experience with Epic EMR system in the last 12 months
• Phlebotomy skills and IV management experience required
