Job Description

People Ready Skilled Trades now has an office in Columbus and is ready to hire! We are looking for Sheet Metal Fabricator for projects in, Cincinnati and the surrounding areas.

Note: The hourly rate for this position is $28 - $32 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.

Responsibilities:

• Fabricating, installing, and repairing sheet metal products, such as ducts, roofing, and siding, using various techniques like welding, soldering, and riveting
• They read blueprints, measure and mark materials, cut and shape sheet metal, and ensure accurate installation
• Maintenance of sheet metal components in diverse settings like construction sites and fabrication shop

Qualifications:

• Fabricating, installing, and repairing sheet metal products, such as ducts, roofing, and siding, using various techniques like welding, soldering, and riveting
• They read blueprints, measure and mark materials, cut and shape sheet metal, and ensure accurate installation and maintenance of sheet metal components in diverse settings like construction sites and fabrication shops
• Sheet metal workers to fabricate or install products made from thin metal sheets, including ducts for heating and air conditioning, roofing, siding, and other metal components.
• Interpret technical drawings to understand dimensions, specifications, and instructions for cutting, bending, and shaping sheet metal
• Using various tools and machinery, they cut, bend, and shape sheet metal to precise dimensions and desired forms
• Fasten seams and joints using techniques like welding, soldering, riveting, or bolt in
