CT / Rad Tech Job Details – Chicago, IL

• Location: Chicago, IL 60611 (Downtown – Near North Side)
• Assignment Length: 12 weeks (September 8, 2025 – December 1, 2025)
• Healthcare Setting: Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab)
• Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (07:00 – 17:15)
• Hours per Week: 40
• On-Call: Yes (5pm – 7am weekdays; Friday night to Monday morning weekends)
• Weekend Requirement: On-call rotation as above
• Orientation: 8 hours
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2870 - $2950

CT / Radiologic Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a CT / Rad Tech in a Cardiac Cath Lab
• Associate Degree in Applied Sciences required; Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology preferred
• Current ARRT certification and active Illinois (IDNS) license (must be in hand)
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Proficient in medical terminology and computer systems
• Strong communication, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills
• Ability to maintain competencies and fulfill continuing education requirements
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical exemptions considered for COVID-19 only)
• Submission of license, skills checklist, and two recent professional references (one from a supervisor/manager/charge RN within the last year)

CT / Rad Tech Responsibilities – Cardiac Cath Lab

• Perform advanced CT and radiologic imaging procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab
• Assist with cardiac catheterizations, stent placements, and interventional radiology procedures
• Interpret cardiac dysrhythmias and provide support during complex cardiac interventions
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide weekend coverage as scheduled
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment in a fast-paced clinical setting
