Assembly Technician
Location: Eastlake, Ohio
Employment Type: Temporary
Hours: 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday
Pay: $17-$20/hr (Based on Experience)
Job Description:
Our client is seeking an experienced Assembly Tech for a temporary role (approximately 8 weeks). The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling material handling equipment according to required specifications, using a variety of hand tools and equipment. This role also involves reading, interpreting, and following blueprints for assembly, performing quality checks, and identifying product defects.
Key Responsibilities:

Assemble material handling equipment and parts using hand tools and various equipment.

Read and interpret assembly blueprints to ensure correct assembly.

Perform quality work checks to ensure products meet specified standards.

Follow quality standards and safety procedures during assembly.

Operate CNC Router and manual machines as required.

Forklift operation (training may be provided).
Education and Experience Requirements:

High school diploma or GED.

1-2 years of assembly experience.

Strong mechanical background and knowledge of tools.

Ability to regularly lift 30-50 lbs.

Experience with reading and understanding assembly blueprints is preferred.

Machining experience (CNC or Manual) is a plus but not required.

Proficiency with measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers.

Able to work effectively within a team environment.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Basic math skills.
