The Baldwin Wallace University Conservatory of Performing Arts is a premier institution, nationally recognized for developing talent in both traditional and emerging fields of performance, scholarship, and creativity. The Conservatory invites applications for two part-time adjunct teachers of Music Theatre Voice to join the Conservatory’s nationally ranked music theatre program beginning on August 1, 2026. Over the last three decades, the BW Music Theatre program (BWMT) has developed into a sought-after program for Conservatory-level education in the field. BWMT is regularly ranked among the top ten programs in the US and, for the last two years, was included on The Hollywood Reporter’s list of “Top 25 Drama Schools in the World.” Over 75 BWMT graduates have performed on Broadway and in National Tours over the last 10 years.
Primary Responsibilities: Join a talented and dedicated group of full- and part-time faculty with the common goal of student success: educate voice students in all the Conservatory’s programs with primary emphasis on the nationally recognized Music Theatre program; commit to performing and teaching diverse repertoires; participate in Conservatory voice departmental and juries; and fulfill additional responsibilities based on individual expertise and interests.
Qualifications: Experience in teaching Music Theatre (contemporary theatre, commercial music, belt, and classical theatre) styles; a master’s degree in music or commensurate experience; special consideration will be given to those who show a demonstrated commitment to inclusive recruitment and/or proven record of teaching excellence within a collegiate music program.
