• Job Title: Locum Tenens Rehab Registered Nurse (RN) – Inpatient Rehab
• Location: Rochester, NH 03867 (New Hampshire healthcare jobs)
• Facility Setting: Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit (19 beds)
• Start Date: September 15, 2025
• End Date: December 15, 2025
• Assignment Duration: 13-week travel contract
• Shift: 12-hour days (6:00AM – 6:00PM), every other weekend required
• Hours per Week: 36
• Employment Type: Locum Tenens / Travel RN
• Dress Code: Plain color scrubs
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1860 - $1910 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire or compact state
• BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in inpatient rehab nursing or medical-surgical (med-surg) nursing
• IV therapy experience required
• Preferred: Experience with wound care, stroke, and traumatic brain injury (TBI) patients
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR preferred
• Ability to float to Critical Care Unit (CCU), Medical-Surgical (Med Surg), and Emergency Room (ER) as needed
• Strong communication skills, flexibility, and a patient-centered approach

RN Responsibilities – Inpatient Rehab Unit

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the inpatient rehabilitation setting
• Administer IV therapy and medications as ordered
• Assist with wound care, stroke, and TBI patient management
• Operate mechanical lifts, Sara Steady, Baxter pumps, and Kangaroo pumps
• Document all patient care activities using Meditech EMR system
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including charge RN, CNAs, and sitters
• Maintain a 6:1 patient ratio to ensure safety and comfort
• Float to other hospital units (CCU, Med Surg, ER) as required
• Work every other weekend as part of the nursing team schedule
