Production Planner
Job Responsibilities:
- The planner will be assigned to a Production/ Plant Supervisor and will also lead 2 Production Meetings a week.
- Experience working within an MRP/ERP system.
- SAP preferred but not required. Technology can be trained, Excel is a must.
- Critical and analytical skills used daily.
Skills:
- Managing production schedules for multiple areas and product groups.
- Working with Purchasing team to understand material lead times.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team for timing and execution of picking materials to jobs.
- Notifying customers when there are delays in production.
- Managing delivery dates in SAP. Working in case ques to communicate job status’ related to special requests.
- Running various production meetings to communicate customer needs and internal schedules.
- Planning experience in a manufacturing facility.
- Systems experience. i.e -SAP, Oracle, or comparable ERP/MRP.
Education/Experience:
- Assoc. Degree Preferred but years of equivalent exp is accepted Cross-functional team communication is a must, working with all business partners.
