Pay: $51,000 – $65,000 per year (based on experience and training milestones)

We’re expanding our team with a Field Service Technician who has strong electronics and troubleshooting skills and enjoys working hands-on with precision laser systems.

Responsibilities

· Install, maintain, and repair CO₂ laser systems and RF drivers

· Diagnose AC/DC circuits, power supplies, and logic systems using test instruments

· Perform optical alignment and beam calibration in the field

· Travel regionally (OH, MI, IN, KY, PA, and nearby states)

· Provide on-site customer support and operator training

· Maintain detailed service records and communicate professionally with clients

Qualifications

· Strong understanding of electronics, including AC/DC circuits and power supplies

· Skilled in using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and related test tools

· Comfortable working with high-voltage systems and laser safety standards

· Valid driver’s license with ability to travel 50–60%

· Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Preferred (Not Required)

· Experience with CO₂ lasers, RF exciters, or photonics systems

· Education or background in electronics, mechatronics, or laser technology

· Optional experience with Python, JavaScript, or website tools

Compensation & Growth

Starting at $55,000 per year, increasing to $70,000 with experience. Paid travel, per diem, and bonus opportunities. Advancement to Senior Field Engineer or Lab Specialist roles. Training provided in Photovac’s proprietary CO₂ laser and RF calibration systems.
