We're seeking a highly motivated Learning Designer to join our fast-paced team. In this role, you'll help shape the future of digital learning by aligning content and product strategy to keep courses current, relevant, and high-quality. You'll work hands-on with our course catalog and take ownership of improvements that deliver outstanding learning experiences for today's and tomorrow's learners.
What you'll do here:

Diagnose and resolve course issues by identifying root causes and implementing learning design improvements aligned with Cengage standards and product strategy.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Content, SMEs, and project stakeholders to deliver learner-centered courses.

Ensure course updates meet quality standards and are delivered on time and within scope and budget.

Evaluate learning experiences using data to drive continuous improvement and strong learner outcomes.

Contribute to developing and refining learning design standards and best practices across the course catalog.

Stay current on digital learning, learning science, and pedagogical trends.
Skills you will need here:

Proven ability to design engaging learning experiences.

Strong understanding of Backward Design, pedagogical principles, and learning science.

Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Ability to collaborate across teams to resolve issues and drive improvements.

Experience with e-learning authoring tools and platforms.
Preferred Qualifications

Master's level education or professional training program in education, instructional composition, educational technologies, or related fields.

Experience working directly with programming code languages (e.g. HTML5, CSS)

The full base pay range has been provided for this position. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location. Sales roles often incorporate a significant incentive compensation program beyond this base pay range.
$60,000.00 - $75,000.00 USD
