Software engineer principal data product lead - retail

As a Software Engineer Principal (Data Product Domain Lead - Retail) within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH, Dallas, TX or Birmingham, AL. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager's discretion.

The role will provide strategic leadership for Data Products delivery aligned to the Retail Deposits data domain / Line of Business.

Responsibilities will include: Overall ownership of Retail Data Products delivery and business outcomes; Managing relationships with senior stakeholders within Line of Business and Technology; Overseeing budgeting & capacity planning; Driving standardization & quality in delivery across Retail Data Products.

Successful candidates will have understanding of data technologies / architecture as well as business strategy, experience with product management (Including requirements definition, managing product lifecycle), and experience with stakeholder management and excellent communication skills.

Candidate should have familiarity with the following:

-Leading Data repositories and technologies: Big Data Hadoop, Oracle, Teradata, MongoDB, Neo4J, Elastic Stack, Kafka Streaming etc.

-Managing Data as a Product: Product Lifecycle, Scaled Agile (SAFe), Outcomes Tracking.

-Data Fabric Reference Architecture.

-Data Management: Data Governance and Quality, Ontology governance etc.

Pay Transparency

Base Salary: $65,000.00 - $187,200.00

Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
