Legal Administrative Assistant – Downtown Columbus
Aspen Careers is proud to partner with a well-established law firm in downtown Columbus seeking a full-time, experienced Legal Administrative Assistant to support a dynamic attorney in their government affairs practice group.
The Role
In this fast-paced position, you'll play a key role in providing high-level administrative and legal support, including:
- Coordinating meetings, conference calls, and appointments with clients, legislative staff, and government officials
- Preparing and editing presentation materials and reports
- Managing lobbyist registrations and filing required reports
- Tracking deadlines, registrations, and key dates
- Assisting with association events and communications
- Supporting the attorney and paralegal with a wide range of administrative tasks

What We’re Looking For
- 1–2 years of experience in a Legal Assistant or Administrative Assistant role
- Strong communication and proofreading skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Word; detail-oriented and well-organized
- Experience with compliance or associations is a plus, but not required
