Location: Midwest (Columbus, OH, Indianapolis, IN, OR New Berlin, WI)
Travel: Up to 50% within region

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead and grow sales operations within the Midwest territory ((Columbus, OH, Indianapolis, IN, New Berlin, WI). This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and developing a high-performing outside sales team.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong financial acumen, proven sales leadership experience, and the ability to execute in fast-changing business environments. This individual will collaborate closely with Operations Leaders and Senior Leadership to ensure alignment between sales strategy, operational execution, and overall company objectives.
What You’ll Do
Lead & Develop a High-Performing Sales Team
- Coach, mentor, and develop an outside sales team focused on growth and new business acquisition.
- Establish clear expectations, performance metrics, and accountability standards.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, pipeline discussions, and strategy sessions.
- Develop and execute a regional sales strategy aligned with corporate and branch-level objectives.
- Establish territories, quotas, and growth targets to ensure balanced market coverage.
- Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Identify opportunities for market expansion, new verticals, and strategic partnerships.
- Ensure accurate CRM usage and pipeline management (Zoho experience preferred).
- Deliver reliable sales forecasts, pipeline reporting, and market intelligence to leadership.
- Analyze customer, operational, and financial data to drive decision-making and resource allocation.
- Maintain strong visibility into revenue trends and proactively address performance gaps.
- Review Letters of Intent (LOIs), large quotes, and complex proposals to ensure strategic alignment and profitability.
- Partner with sales representatives in executive-level customer meetings, negotiations, and deal closures.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic and high-value accounts.
- Serve as a visible leader within the region and at trade associations, conferences, and industry events.
- Strengthen brand presence and build relationships that drive long-term growth.
- Manage regional sales budgets and ensure responsible allocation of resources.
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5–10 years of progressive sales leadership experience.
- Industry experience in building products, construction materials, or manufacturing preferred.
- Demonstrated success leading teams responsible for $50M+ in combined annual revenue.
- Track record of achieving aggressive growth targets and expanding market share.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% within the assigned region.
- Strong understanding of forecasting, financial performance, and growth strategy.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to build C-level relationships.
- Clearly communicates strategic vision and expectations across teams.
- Experience building, coaching, and scaling high-performing sales teams.
