Job Title: Security Management Senior

Location: Kettering, Ohio

Position Overview: Crossflow has an exciting opportunity for a Security Manager to join a team supporting our EPASS GB contract at Kettering, OH. As part of AFLCMC/GB, the GBC Customer Services Domain provides a spectrum of support services covering Resource Management, Security Management, Operations and Special Projects and Events to BES personnel at all locations. Service capabilities are clearly advertised to the BES populous and provide a one-stop shop in a defined and consistent manner, enhancing GB customer support while using significantly fewer BES resources.


Responsibilities:

This position requires a highly motivated individual with experience in security management. Duties involve the management, supervision, or performance of work in:

  • Perform analytical, planning, advisory, operational, or evaluative work that has as its principal purpose the development and implementation of policies, procedures, standards, training, and methods for identifying and protecting information, personnel, property, facilities, operations, or material from unauthorized disclosure, misuse, theft, assault, vandalism, espionage, sabotage, or loss.

  • Recommending, evaluating, maintaining, and/or operating systems, policies, devices, procedures, and methods used for safeguarding information, property, personnel, operations, and materials

  • Recommending and implementing policies and procedures for analyzing and evaluating the character, background, and history of employees, candidates for employment, and other persons having or proposed to be granted access to classified or other sensitive information, materials, or work sites.

  • Shall implement AFLCMC GB security program in accordance with USAF, AFMC, AFLCMC or WPAFB policies and procedures.

  • Print, file, and/or destroy maintenance records (AFTO 36 or equivalent), and access lists for GSA locked doors and containers to include the preparation and tracking of Government forms SF 700, SF 701, and SF 702 in accordance with AF policy.

  • Initiate and maintain SF-312 Non-disclosure Agreements for all personnel holding security clearances.

  • Initiate the submission of electronic Questionnaire for Investigations Processing (eQIP) security clearance documents for personnel investigations.

  • Verify security clearances using Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) and other systems of record for individuals in accordance with AF and WPAFB Policies.

  • Ensure the accuracy of JPAS and/or Defense Information System for Security (DISS) information for all assigned personnel.

  • Review DD Form 254 draft submissions and provide recommendations for approval or changes needed in conjunction with DoD 5220.22-M, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), and DoDM 5200.01 Volumes 1-4.

Required Qualifications:

The Security Manager Possesses the advanced knowledge, experience, and recognized ability to be considered an expert in their technical/professional field, possess the ability to perform tasks and oversee the efforts of junior and mid-level personnel within the technical/professional discipline. Will demonstrate advanced knowledge of their technical/professional discipline as well as possess a comprehensive understanding and ability to apply associated standards, procedures, and practices in their area of expertise. (Program Office, Enterprise, and Staff Level Support interface)

EDUCATION:

Minimum Recommended Education and Experience:

BA/BS Degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems or other relevant discipline and 5 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline.

Additional Requirements:

  • Prior experience as an FSO (Facility Security Officer) required
  • Current or ability to obtain Secret clearance - Required
  • Highly proficient with computers and software applications to include Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.), expert attention-to-detail & highly organized
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required

Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Must have an active Secret Clearance. Must maintain clearance at required level.

We created a unique performance bonus program called Crossflow Kudos. 401(k) RETIREMENT PLAN & COMPANY MATCHING
Crossflow uses Principal as our 401(k) plan sponsor. Employees can choose payroll deduction and fund investing options. Payroll deductions will begin the month following your enrollment. Crossflow matches 100% of the first 3% of compensation, plus 50% of the next 2% of compensation.

HIGHER EDUCATION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
Crossflow offers education assistance to benefit-eligible employees for degree programs at their director's discretion. Crossflow feels that a well-rounded education, even outside of an employee's current role, can enhance an employee's skillset and increase the company's value.

GENEROUS PTO ACCRUAL & FLEXIBLE LEAVE POLICY
Crossflow currently grants 11 federally observed paid holidays. In addition to these holidays, Crossflow offers a minimum of 2 weeks of paid time off (PTO) to all full-time employees. Employees may utilize PTO for any reason (sickness, vacation, personal day, etc.) and can carry over a maximum of 80 hours from year to year. Many employees are authorized to work additional hours within a normal, forty-hour pay period. This approval is included in the employee's offer letter for employment. These extra hours may be banked for compensatory (comp) time off.

PAID PARENTAL & BEREAVEMENT LEAVE
To help our employees be present with family during major life events, Crossflow provides additional PTO. We offer varying types of paid Parental Leave to aid birthing, non-birthing, and adoptive parents transition into parenthood.
