Inside Sales Representative

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Engage new and existing customers via phone, email, and other communication channels to promote Crown Matting’s manufactured janitorial and facility products.
• Conduct proactive outbound calls to generate leads, qualify opportunities, and support territory and outside sales efforts as needed.
• Assist customers in identifying appropriate matting solutions based on application, usage, and budget requirements.
• Provide accurate product information, pricing, lead times, and availability to support sales and close orders.
• Process sales orders, quotes, and customer requests with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Coordinate with production, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers to encourage repeat business and long‑term partnerships.
• Address customer inquiries, issues, and concerns professionally and efficiently to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Document sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunities within the CRM system.
• Support outside sales representatives, marketing initiatives, and promotional programs as assigned.
• Share customer feedback and market insights with sales leadership to support continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Required Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent or equivalent combination of education and relevant sales or customer service experience ; college degree preferred.
• Prior experience in inside sales, sales support, or customer service within a B2B environment preferred.
• Experience supporting manufacturing, janitorial, facility, or commercial products is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficiency using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order entry and documentation.
• Proactive, team‑oriented mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction and sales support.
• Background check and drug test required.
