Production Supervisor - Process Improvement Focus

We are seeking a Production Supervisor with a strong process improvement mindset. This role is ideal for someone who combines hands-on manufacturing leadership with the ability to analyze processes, identify inefficiencies, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
The Production Supervisor ensures daily production operations meet organizational expectations. This role is accountable for team performance, operational efficiency, product quality, and maintaining a safe, well‐supported work environment. Bi-lingual English & Spanish preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Directly supervise assigned production team members.
- Coordinate with Maintenance to address equipment needs and maintain optimal performance.
- Partner with Quality to ensure consistent production of high‐quality gloves.
- Communicate with Engineering regarding defect trends or issues identified by packing teams.
- Work with Warehouse personnel to ensure packaging materials are staged according to the 24‐hour production plan and weekend requirements.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts with Maintenance, EH&S, and Engineering.
- Conduct daily safety walks and participate in safety committee meetings.
- Hold team members accountable to performance and behavioral expectations.
- Manage and enforce ergonomic rotation of team members.
- Report daily production performance to leadership.
Qualifications
- Experience working in a 24/7 operating environment.
- Background in a chemical or manufacturing facility.
- Two‐year degree preferred.
- Minimum two years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
- Demonstrated experience using structured problem-solving methods (e.g., root cause analysis, 5 Whys, fishbone).
- Experience identifying process inefficiencies and implementing improvements in a manufacturing environment.
- Skilled in conducting difficult conversations and managing performance.
- Knowledge of standardized business processes and internal controls.
- General familiarity with OSHA and EPA standards.
- Strong presentation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated success in team development and leadership.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‐paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem‐solving abilities.
Working conditions

- 12‐hour shift schedule.
- Overtime compensated per applicable labor laws.
