Salary: Compensation based on experience

Scott Electric has a current opening at our Springfield, OH, branch for a Full-Time Project Coordinator in the Commercial Lighting Department , M-F 8 am-5 pm .

Candidates must have an aptitude for and enjoy math, very detail oriented with organizational skills. The responsibilities require a person who is highly motivated, a self-starter with excellent time-management abilities. This position requires a long term commitment to developing knowledge in the commercial lighting industry. You must have strong communication skills, and be able to work in a highly stressful environment dealing in a very competitive industry.

Requirements:

• Advanced math skills are necessary to assure accuracy of lot job reconciling including change orders, on time billings, and maintain or increase lot job profit levels
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills are a must, as you will be required to converse on a knowledgeable level with electricians, general contractors, estimators, job foreman, specifiers, vendors and their reps
• Strong planning, time management, and organizational skills are essential to manage multiple construction schedules, expedite orders, and meet deadlines
• Critical thinking skills are essential to develop effective solutions that serve both the customer and the company
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to multitask with keen attention to detail
• Maintains a calm and professional demeanor in high-pressure or stressful situations
• Must be a team player with confidence to work independently
• Customer service and sales enthusiasm
• Good track record of maintaining and managing excellent work ethic
• Microsoft Office expertise

Salary: Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
