Job Description

THE UNIVERSITY OF TOLEDO COLLEGE OF LAW is seeking to hire a grant funded Director of the Ohio Governor’s Expedited Pardon Project Clinic (OGEPP). This is a 12-month, non-tenure-track position within the College of Law. OGEPP is a collaborative project with Governor DeWine to significantly shorten the processing time for pardon applications in the state of Ohio.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must possess a juris doctorate and an Ohio bar license, excellent academic credentials, significant experience in legal practice, and a commitment to excellence in experiential legal education and community engagement. Ideal candidates demonstrate sound judgment and discretion and have excellent written and oral communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior criminal law practice, teaching, and experience with reentry legal services are preferred.
