Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience required License: Valid state RN license required Certifications: BCLS required, ACLS preferred, NIHSS preferred Must-Have: - EPIC experience required - Oncology experience preferred but not required - IV starts - Telemetry experience - Tracheostomy management - Ability to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse in the Medical-Surgical/Telemetry specialty. This position involves working with mixed acuity patients, including medical-surgical and telemetry patients. Schedules may include days, nights, or a combination of both based on the department’s needs. Shift assignments are reviewed every four-week scheduling period, but changes are not guaranteed. A minimum of two years of nursing experience is required. Experience with the EPIC charting system is mandatory. Successful candidates will be proficient in skills such as IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and tracheostomy management. Previous travel experience is preferred. Candidates must be prepared for a flexible schedule that may require floating to other medical-surgical and oncology units. Documentation of two professional references is required, with at least one reference from a managerial position. Candidates should be available for credentialing and compliance requirements.
