We are looking for an Entry-Level Environmental Remediation Professional to join our Cincinnati, OH Environmental team.

We’ll empower you to learn and grow in the delivery of environmental site characterization and remediation projects for government and global private-sector clients – to make our world better.

In this position you’ll work with a multidisciplinary team of scientists, engineers, subject matter experts, and project managers on exciting projects in which you will learn from others and pass along your knowledge. Responsibilities may include designing, performing, or overseeing soil, soil vapor, groundwater, and surface water investigations, coordinating and managing fieldwork logistics, data analysis and interpretation, technical report writing, and participating in meetings with clients and regulators.

To be successful in this position you must have the ability to build relationships, resolve conflicts, and participate in diverse teams consisting of Jacobs colleagues across discipline and geography as well as external stakeholders and subcontractors. This is a Hybrid position where you’ll be afforded the flexibility to work from both the office as well as from home as best suited to meet project delivery goals while maintaining balance.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology or a related field.
• ability to travel up to 60% - 75%.
• Knowledge Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and data management software.
• United States Citizenship and Valid Driver’s license is required for this role.
• Must be local to Cincinnati, Ohio area.

Ideally, you’ll also have:

• Master’s degree in geology, engineering, or other closely related technical field.
• 40-hr HAZWOPER certification.
• Strong attention to detail, problem solving skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and in a team environment.
• Ability to work outdoors in a variety of challenging settings and terrains.

The base salary range for this position is $58,656.00 to $80,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
