Job Description

Helpful Hearted Providers Inc. is hiring compassionate and dependable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) throughout Cuyahoga County, Ohio .

As a DSP, you will provide hands-on support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and community settings. This role is ideal for someone who is patient, responsible, and passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

We provide paid training for qualified candidates.

Pay & Benefits

• $16.00 – $20.00 per hour (based on experience and complexity of care)

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including hygiene, grooming, and dressing

• Administer medications (as trained and certified)

• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping

• Provide transportation to appointments and community activities

• Implement Individual Service Plans (ISPs)

• Complete accurate daily documentation

• Promote independence, dignity, and community inclusion

• Maintain a safe and supportive environment

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old

• High school diploma or GED required

• Valid Ohio driver’s license

• Reliable personal transportation

• Ability to pass background check and drug screening in accordance with Ohio DODD requirements

• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred, but not required
