Physical Therapist Job Details

• Location: Zanesville, Ohio (Zip: 43701) – Ohio healthcare jobs
• Setting: Acute Inpatient Hospital – clinical support
• Employment Type: Locum Tenens (Travel/Contract)
• Start Date: September 8, 2025
• End Date: December 1, 2025
• Duration: 12 weeks
• Schedule: Day shift, varied start times (8:00am–4:30pm or 9:00am–5:30pm), Monday–Friday, with one weekend shift per month
• Hours per Week: 36–40 guaranteed hours
• Shift Options: Five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts (potentially available)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2360–$2420

Physical Therapist Qualifications

• Active Ohio Physical Therapist license and registry (fully credentialed prior to start)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist; 2 years of acute care experience preferred
• Experience with post-operative orthopedic, joint replacement, trauma, neurosurgical, and medically complex patients (including cardiovascular procedures such as CABG preferred)
• EPIC EMR experience preferred

Physical Therapist Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality physical therapy services to adult patients in an acute inpatient setting
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs for post-operative, trauma, neurosurgical, and cardiovascular patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Document patient progress and treatment plans using EPIC EMR
• Occasionally treat young adults/teens (typically trauma cases)
• Participate in scheduled weekend coverage
