Experienced Maintenance Tech

Banyan Living is a prominent company focused on providing outstanding living experiences in luxury apartment homes across the greater Cleveland and Columbus metropolitan areas. We are currently seeking an Experienced Maintenance Technician to join our dedicated team.

As an Experienced Maintenance Technician, you will bring your expertise and skills to ensure the highest standards of maintenance and repair across our properties. This role is essential to maintaining the comfort and safety of our residents, and it offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a fantastic living environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive inspections and preventative maintenance on property systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
• Respond efficiently and effectively to service requests and emergency repairs.
• Conduct repairs and replacements for appliances, fixtures, and general building maintenance needs.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents, ensuring all work meets company quality standards.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and inventory of tools and supplies.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance property cleanliness and safety.
• Adhere to safety protocols and promote safe work practices throughout the property.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications a plus.
• 3+ years of experience in property maintenance or related field.
• Proficient knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to take initiative.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Availability for on-call duties and emergency maintenance as needed.
